2004 OPT Championship

The OPT inaugural season will feature a Championship in December of 2004. Five players will compete for the championship pot, which is comprised of $1 from every OPT tournament pot. The winner will not only win the entire championship pot, but will also be known as the Oregon Poker Tour Champion.

The five players must win their way into the tournament. The first four spots are given to the winners of the four major OPT tournaments. If one player wins a major tournament and already has a entry from winning a past major tournament, the spot is awarded to the player who finishes in second place. The fifth spot in awarded to the player who is highest on the OPT leader board and does not already have a spot in the final game.
