The Oregon Poker Tour's first official event of the year took place at Co-Founder Dugan's house.  The air was tense, the beer was root, and the cards were being dealt onto the table.

Six players put in $2.50 each to win the $15 pot at the OPT single table, freeze-out tournament.  Which one of these fierce competitors would take the victory while everyone else attempted to learn their own style of play only to be put out of play before they could fully grasp the game?

The Winner:

Ray Welch

Welch walked in and played in the OPT for the first time, and he took the money home with him.
