August 13 2004
It was a historical day in the Oregon Poker Tour's first full season. It was the only the second time the OPT had held a tournament on a Friday the 13th, and the second time the OPT had visited the house of Drew Wood. Drew hosted the game despite neither of the Co-founders being present at the start of the first game. With Co-founder Dugan not in the first game, would anyone stand up and attempt to cut into his lead on the OPT Leaderboard?

Stringy won his first game ever in the OPT.
The second game of the night only had nine players in it, but even so, the winner was looking at a nice $21.50. Would this money go into Drew Wood's gas fund as he left Oregon for Miami? Or would someone else add the money to their OPT Leaderboard status?

Shawn took the win away from Drew in his first night of playing with the Oregon Poker Tour. That's the way all things that are poker go: anyone can win.
