February 27 2004
It was another night of low stakes poker for the Oregon Poker Tour. On this night, eleven players gathered together at the house of Jerry Pickering for the action. OPT leader Josh Cowan was looking to keep his lead, while Co-founder Luke Shortridge was looking to take first place from him. With only two weeks left before the first OPT Special Tournament, the players were looking to put themselves as high on the leader board as they could.

The Winner ($26.50):
Ray Welch |
|
Ray took his second victory of the year, after being down to his very last $40 in chips; a comeback never seen before in the OPT.
The second game of the night involved only ten of the original eleven players. Many players were still looking for their first win in the OPT this year, others were looking for their first win period. With $24 on the line for the winner, who would take it?
